Come Visit the Land of Jurassic World! You have no doubt heard of this new and exciting film – visit the land where it was made!
This amazing film need a suitably amazing location – overflowing with spellbinding beauty and wonder. Of course, this newest film in the Jurassic Park series, starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, is sure to be one of the highest grossing films of the years – and could of course be filmed anywhere on Earth – was filmed in Hawaii from April to June 2014.
Kualoa Ranch, located on Oahu’s Windward Side was seen in the first film of the series when a Gallimimus dinosaur stampede (chased by a Tyranasaurus Rex) forced Dr. Grant and the kids to run and hide. Kualoa Ranch offers (among other things) “experience” tours where you can stroll these locations firsthand (without the dinosaurs, thankfully).
The remote, primitive and waterfall-streamed beauty of Kauai featured heavily in the original 1993 film – and Roberts Hawaii Tours can take you and your family to this Island, as well. Mt. Waialeale, which was the park’s entrance in Jurassic Park, is once again seen in Jurassic World. In fact, Manawaiopuna Falls is now referred to locally as “Jurassic Falls” due to its identification and visual importance to the film. Other notable locations in the film include the Olokele Valley, and the charming town of Lawai, on Kauai’s south central coast, Lawai International Center Santuary Gardens and the many stunning and peaceful Buddhist shrines. All this and more awaits you!
